Update - I have gone back to 9.3 ... 9.5 caused my previously stable PVR software to freeze or drop back to the menu from Live TV.  I will live with the tiny sync issues of 9.3 for the moment until something else comes about ...

Well I've still got ropey sound ie; pops and crackles etc, but otherwise it's pretty stable.
