Hi,

We have only had a Sky Dish Antenna on the side of our home.  I was looking for an Antenna that would work but be small an possibly not visible.

I took a risk and ordered one of these: http://www.freeviewshop.co.nz/active-flat-panel-aerial-freeview-p-77.html

It is VERY small and I am able to receive all freeview channels with a 100% signal in St. Heliers, Auckland.  I do not have line of sight to any of the transmitters.

Hope this is of use to others.

Best,

-Philip

Do you get 100% signal either way you point it?? Or do you point it towards the transmitter?

Hi,

At this point it is simply sitting on a window ledge pointing North West.  Now that I know it works I will move it to the roof and will be able to let you know when the migration has been completed.

It mentions that it "can be powered by the reciever". Does it require power? If power does not come from the reciever (Plugged into a HTPC) does it then need external power?

Hi,

I have found that it does need power to function, I was not able to tune any channels without power being supplied to the antenna.  It can be powered by the tuner if the tuner can supply 12v to the antenna connection.  Otherwise the antenna comes with a power inserter and a 12v wall transformer.
