Hi gents,

Just back from UK. They are using dreambox 500C with a certain image and emu plus some special rom (software), then they can view all those sly sports and movie channels.  I know here in Auckland we have UHF and DBS, I guess I only have UHF in my appartment. So is it possible that I use Dreambox 500T with proper software to view those sports and movie channels. If yes, where I can download those files?

no, it won't work.

Sky use satellite only. A 500T won't be much good here. You can receive Sky on a 500s,  so I hear Wink  :edit: ONLY if you are a legitimate Sky subscriber.

Yes this is correct a dreambox will do sky channels if you have a valid subscription and have a new sky card (blue one) i have an old gold one but would like a blue one, anyone got any ideas how to make a card fail?  so i can get it swapped for a blue one, then i can use it in my dreambox.

You cant discuss illegal things on this forum, IE getting sky for free.
However if you do have a card (will only work with a card) you can use a dreambox with a sky card or try this

If your card did fail, you'd get the same type of card as a replacement. The boxes that take the blue cards are different. The blue cards only come with the MySky untils, and a subset of the new small silver PACE decoders. All the others have the older gold card.
