Just got GB-PVR up and running, recording etc with no trouble. Perfect picture, sync etc.
Only problem is, if I go the recordings folder using Windows and try play them with PowerDVD or WMP I don't get any sound. I have to play them from within GB-PVR for audio to be present. ??

If it's playing them from GB-PVR, then I must have the correct codecs installed, but it seems PowerDVD and WMP aren't using them in the same way.

the problem is most software can't play the LATM flavour of AAC audio, stick to GB-PVR for the moment.

You have got Monogram AAC decoder installed?

Thanks, I'll try installing PowerDVD for playback. As far as the Monogram AAC codec goes, I have installed / registered the codec from an admin command prompt, and it says "successful" yet it doesn't make a damn difference, and I cannot select it in the GB-PVR audio decoder list either. Am I missing something to get this codec to work?? (I am using the latest version too 9.0.3).
