Neighbours just switched from VFTV to Sky. They have 2 TV's in two different bedrooms, one for VFTV on RF, the other with a Sat box to watch Optus D2 FTA

Old setup: Older LNB>VFTV Box > RF Out > Splitter > RG6 > Satellite Box (Bedroom 1)

                                                                 Splitter > RG6 > TV (Analogue) - VFTV signal  (Bedroom 2)

Unfortunately they didn't let the Sky tech know about the above set up. From what I can tell, the Sky installer has replaced the LNB with a newer version and adjusted the dish on D1. I do understand that to get the Sky signal down to the bedroom a RF Modulator is required.

My only question is, how to get the Satellite box for Optus D2 to work again when the Dish is now on D1. Second dish required? They're specifically interested in TP 12608 H

Thanks

Assuming it's a dual throat LNB, you probably can't stick a second LNB for D2 on the same dish. So either get a second dish, or replace the new Sky LNB with a single throat and a bracket for a second LNB.
