HI I have recorded TV on disk recorded from powercinema DVB-T digital, I can play back fine in powercinema sound and great video but cannot get sound when playing back through vista media center or media player.. Any help to get this working would be great. I am very attched to Media center and only want to use Powercinema for TV as Vista media center does not support HD NZ Freeview yet..

I tried the vista codec utility but no luck..

Somebody else posted about this the other day but I can't recall if it was on GZ or elsewhere.

There is only one directshow codec at present that supports the AAC-LATM audio usd in New Zealand and that is the Monogram AAC decoder. If you are getting a picture try downloading this and installing it and see if it works.

I haven't tried this - and if it doesn't work there are probably no other options at present. It's just a matter of waiting until MS hopefully release H.264 support for VMC sometime this century..

There are some other codecs that work but mongram will definitely give you the best quality.
