Hi,
I installed HVR4000 and Powerlink Cinema 5.1, that come a long with card.
All drivers installed successfully, but when I'm running the setup the Powerlink Cinema detects only Analog Tuner,
No DVB-t and dvb-s, Do I miss something, do I need addtionall drivers??
Cheers
Jozef

So a quick roundup of what you still need: Either GB-PVR, Media Portal or DVBViewer, Cyberlink PowerDVD 7 or 8 Ultra Delux, and the Monogram AAC decoder.

Oh, and you need a compatible graphics card as well.

Have you installed the latest drivers & patches?  ie.

Step 1: Install latest driver - Version 2.122.26109
From http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/sup...iversonly.html

Step 2: Install three downloads from http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/pages/sup...satellite.html

+ PowerCinema 5.1 Software Upgrade CD v1.0 (build 4222) to CD v1.4 (build 4410)
+ PowerCinema 5.1 Software Patch, Transponder list update for New Zealand FTA channels
+ PowerCinema HD edition with AAC+ No Audio Patch

Plus, for satelite (from same link)
+ PowerCinema 5.1 Registry Override for 10750 Type LNB
+ PowerCinema 5.1 Registry Override for 11300 Type LNB

Also see post re PowerCinema HW acceleration (sticky post above)

I have no experience with DVB-S, but PowerCinema (with the above patches etc) should work fine with appropriate hardware.  We have it working for both the HVR4000 and Nova T500.

Hi all,
thank you very much for all you help.
Looks like I got the problem with Powerlink Cinema 5.1, that does not detects all the tuners on HVR4000
I installed all the updates from UK website and still nothing.
I installed as well all the other staff mentioned in earlier posts.
I'ts is all workinng fine with DVBviewer, but I would prefer use Powerlink Cinema as it comes with Remote Control.
Also DVBviewer, not working well with DVB-S, does not have Optus D1 in a list and is hard to get working at the same time for both dvb-s and dvb-t.
I tried as well other software "My Theatre", and that looks good as well, but also no Optus D1 in a list.
SO mayor for me is that Powerlink Cinema does not detects dvb-t and dvb-s. Any help will be appreciated.

You can't use DVB-T in New Zealand with anything other than GB-PVR, Media Portal or DVBViewer. Powercinema will not work.

What is the basis of the "will not work"?

PowerCinema (+ HVR4000 or Nova T500) works fine with DVB-T in NZ if properly configured as I noted above. We have it working on 2 PC's - excellent PQ (720p & 1080i). Only thing not functional is the MHEG EPG. All other aspects work - TV viewing, timeshift, record TV & playback (audio & video).
