Let's get a little bit creative and see what we can come up with? :)

Probably those sorts of "reality" TV shows that are popular for some reason

I'd call it TVNZ 3

In all seriousness, I think personally I would like a channel where you can get stuff like South Park same day as the states kinda like a Free-to-air version of Comedy Central since I don't have Sky and I'm impatient

I'd call it Netflix and it would feature cool shows like Stranger Things and stuff.

Does it have to be commercially viable?

If no, then something to focus on the domestic news and current affairs that Mediaworks mostly abandoned when they dumped 3rd Degree, Campbell Live, etc.

If yes, then I can't think of anything I would want to watch.

It all depends on the content. Otherwise you end up with something generic like choice or prime.

I wonder if Labours policy with RNZ producing TV will produce anything like that. It appears they are using RNZ to become a replacement to TVNZ, to become a BBC type product.

I'd be happy if Bravo reverted back to FOUR

Dunno what I'd call it, but it would show things like "The Professionals", "Red Dwarf", "The Sweeney" and "Top Gear" 24/7.

Considering how popular the Jones! channel is, Any channel full of the old classic retro non NZ shows would be welcome. Can't go wrong with old brit comedys and classics for the older audience.

But I expect it would cut into the TV1 viewing figures

I have to say this was really fun when it was broadcast.  We just happened to strike it lucky in terms of child age at the time, but it was pretty rude to take a taxpayer funded channel and present it only via pay TV Sky?!
