So this is dual tuner DVB-T and analogue?

Hmmm.... in a single card... hmmmm (/me starts thinking about an HTPC again), maybe I will wait till the Vista MCE updates are out.

Got mine in, again...
I tried one of these on the first shipment back in march, and the channel changing is real fast. Only tried it in dvbviewer, which seemed ugly, so I sold it to a client. Looking forward to taking it to fiji...

There has been some issues getting the analogue working under Media Portal which I thought was a little strange since this card has onboard MPEG2 encoding - anybody know if this is resolved now?

I want to get one to upgrade from my Nova 500T as I still do like a few shows on Prime and it means I need to keep an MCE150 in my machine for analogue TV. Moving to this means I can have a single card.

Mine just arrived this morning!!! Finally after about 6 or 7 weeks wait.

I've been using a Avermedia USB tuner which was borrowed from a guy at work.  The intergration with DVBViewer & Media Center isn't too bad after a lot of playing around.  I am launching DVBViewer from Media Center's main menu & when I exit DVBViewer by remote it loads MC again.  I want to get a skin which is similar to MC & it would be good if the EPG wasn't only for 2 or so hours.  Still haven't been able to get the recorded TS files to play back in MC yet, that would be nice.

Had a play with Fiji in the weekend, was good to see DVB-T!!!!  Can't wait for the proper release, or even a more stable beta.  Man analog looks bad, even compared to the upscaled stuff

I currently have 2 PVR150's which I'm using for MC.  Does anyone know if I'll be able take these out & use the HVR2200's 2 analog tuners for MC & the 2 digital with DVBViewer at the same time?  At the moment even if MC is closed it will happily record programs in the background.

I don't think you'll find any way of doing this. The 2200 only has dual tuners that are shared between analogue and digital - you can't view 2 analogue and 2 digital broadcasts at the same time.

But could have any combination of two at at the same time?

e.g.

1 digital and 1 analogue
or
2 digital
or
2 analogue

Changing on the fly as and when needed by the media center application?

If the card can do that, then I am pretty sure Mediaportal and GBPVR can both handle it. Will a trip to Fiji likely be able to handle those three scenarios too?

I would like a box that does Freeview + prime well, and using one card and DVB-T + Analogue might lessen some potential headaches I have had in the past...
