Hi,

Are the Freeview DVB-T receiver required specifications published anywhere on their website? I've had a look but can't find them. Or does anyone know where else I could find them.

Cheers

The information is available on request from freeview themselves, but is not for re-distibution.

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

Highlights are DVB-T over UHF.  Mpeg 4 and HE-AAC audio are the big differences.  Most digital tv (both sat and terrestrial) around the world is mpeg2.

Haven't seen the official tech specs.  I thought they would have been made easily available once the system was up and running officially.  Their website is quite crayonish but I suppose the focus is on buying one of the accredited boxes though.
