I am trying to aim my disc to 166E Intelsat 19,

Living in Wellington New Zealand

Trying to get RT Freq 12286 SR 30000, But only getting 12726 SR 28066, signal locked to this freq, getting south sudan from the sam disc, why I can notget other TP from the same disc,

Any thoughts, highly appreciated

Does your receiver resolve MPEG-4 because that is video format that RT uses.

I was using same receiver when RT was in Optus D2, I assume receiver is Ok.

I have satellte meter, it locks only 12726 SR 28066, Not getting 12286

The difference is DVB-S vs DVB-S2. The transponder you can receive is DVB-S, but you can't get the DVB-S2 ones.

Most likely your receiver is too old. What receiver are you using?

It's likely that a receiver that won't support DVB-S2 also won't support MPEG4 video (as @gustov points out), but you should at least be able to lock the transponder if it supports DVB-S2.

And the old Optus D2 transponder it was on 12608 H was DVB-S / MPEG2 which would be why an older receiver will get it OK.

Speaking of IS19, I almost never do anything with it anymore but I had to check something yesterday and several of the channels I had seem to have dropped off the map, most notably France TV, Europe news and RT. Ariang was still there, along with some other stuff I never watch. Have there been frequency changes lately or has something happened to my alignment? I didn't see anything on Lyngsat.

Yes those news channels are all still there.

The attraction of IS19 for New Zealand viewers is that the Australian Network Nine broadcasts 32 channels which can be viewed with a 1m dish and a receiver that can resolve 16APSK.

Do a rescan, they are all still there, maybe do a channel delete 1st
