Is anyone else here using Huisman's IPTV Freeview guide on Android? I have PVR IPTV Simple Client set for NZ and Oz with the Huisman EPG XML. This has always worked perfectly. Two days ago something went wrong and now most of the Guide entries are blank or only show one programme (incorrectly), although a few streams have the normal information. If I click on a good stream in the Guide, I see correct date and programme information. If I click on a bad one, the entry is incorrect with nonsense playing time info. It always says 11.59 pm - 2 pm with different duration settings. The date always appears as Thursday, 1 January 1970.

I have checked this on three different Android devices and they all behave the same. On Windows Kodi everything appears normal. I have contacted Huisman about this but he say he can't find anything wrong. Can someone with this set-up on Android check this and let me know if it is working correctly for them? As an example of the problem, if I look at the Guide for TV1, I see only one entry, which is People on Bikes. That is always the same. TV2 shows the normal correct schedule. TV3 says Red Bull Air Race, Bravo has Hoarders, Duke is correct, and so on. With the Oz listings most have the problem but NITV is correct. Does anyone know what has happened here? Am I the only one or is something else going on? Thanks for any help.

I just checked and I am seeing the same problem as you describe, TV2 and Duke seem OK, the rest are not. This on a Nvidia Shield TV.

Thank you very much for that! At least I now know it is not something at my end. This gives me something to take back to Huisman.

Just checked mine out too. Same problem. And sound way out of sync on some channels.

I've got the same problem on my Mibox3, running Kodi. I'm about to do a update and see if that makes any difference.

My OSMC Vero 4k does not show this problem.

Edit: Updated to Android 8.0, checked/cleared epg app data date time etc, still broken on certain channels.

I just had a reply that the problem may be specific to Kodi 17. According to that Kodi 18 has been tested and works. Can anyone verify this? I don't want to upgrade because I have a tweak that only works on 17.6.

Kodi 18 is still in beta, so it is not really a solution. It would be interesting to know what has changed in the feed that has caused it to stop working. There is no time frame for final release yet.

EDIT: I have installed Leia beta 2, and the epg problem is still there.

Just relaying what was said. I agree with you but this service is also being provided by someone free of charge out of the goodness of his heart so I don't want to be too pushy but I will relay your information, for which I thank you.

I have now installed the nightly, cleared the epg/channel cache, still no change.

Ok, I have relayed your info. I wonder if @apsattv could come up with an alternative?

I've got an alternative guide that I create myself (complete with thumbnails, episode numbers etc.). Its designed for plex - but it should work fine with Kodi. I'm not certain of the geekzone policy regarding posting EPG links, so I won't post it on here publicly, but if you're interested flick me a PM.

I have an update on this. The problem turns out to be related to Daylight Savings Time. The guide has now been fixed for NZ by changing to local time sources. Oz should also start working after the time change on the 30th. Kodi will have to be restarted and the guide data in PVR settings may have to be cleared.

It only worked for me after I cleared the data in PVR Services. Did you do that?
