anyone got any tips for getting German TV here in NZ?  (Wellington)

i've got the MIL visiting over xmas and want to sort something out.    I suspect i'm going to have to invent some kind of streaming option rather than satellite but anyhoo... all things (simple) considered!

TIA!

Nothing on any of the satellites that I am aware of. Streaming is the way to go. Zattoo as mentioned and there are other FTA options like ZDF. All you need is a browser and, as mentioned, a DNS proxy or VPN.

I use Nord, think the DNS proxy is built in, will double check.

There's also some bits and bobs on Netflix.
