I keen getting this error in DVBviewer.

 

"Cannot load Source Filter, error: 0x80040154 Class not registered"

 

anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

what are you trying to playback, dvb-t or dvb-s?

have you tried a different decoder / renderer combo in options, directx ?

You need to go to C:\Program Files\DVBViewer\Filters and run Unregister_DVBSource.exe then run Register_DVBSource.exe.

That's assuming you used the default installation directory for DVB Viewer.

It depends where you installed dvbviewer, and if you have an older version of dvbviewer you may have a different file. Just look for something that is a bit like the files quoted above.

try this,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\DVBViewer\Filters\PushSource.ax"
in Run
should be fine,,,,,,,,

Not sure if you can find "regfilter.exe" in your dvdviewer folder, run that.  it does work on me to fix that problem. good luck.

i managed to fix it by downgrading to powerdvd 7 as i was using 8. But it would not record for that long so i just stopped using it.
