Hi there,
I know that this has been discussed already in other threads but thought it could be easier if Rustygonads and others would share their knowledge in a specific Thread.

Please leave any irrelavant comments to other Topics!!
Can People in NZ please post their Settings from Woe to Go, I have read alot of posts and still cannot get a Signal or Scan any satellite channels.

I have a Sky Dish split to the STB and my HVR3000 Sat input
(I had managed to setup my computer previously with Rusty's How To instructions so I know that it works :( )

Here is what I have done:
Fresh Install of Vista Ultimate x86
Service Pack 1
Run updates from Web
Install TV Pack
Install Readyplay
Install the 2 other updates necessary, sorry forgot the KB numbers

MCE setup:
Choose NZ
Postcode 0000
Agree to T&C's
Choose Satellite
Choose Optus D1 (160.0E) Satellite
Choose Single Transponder
Add 10750 in
Choose Manual Scan not Full Scan
Add 12483 and 22500 Horizontil

Nothing at all, No signal No Channels found, I have checked my Sky STB and the LNB settings are Low Freq 10750 - High Freq 11800 - Satellite is Optus D2 156.0E, Now I dont know if all this makes a difference
I am stumped that my Satellite is Optus D2 156.0E but I have to choose Optus D1 (160.0E) from what I've read at other forums.  The is Optus C1 (156.0E) ?

I'm sure alot of people having trouble will be greatful with everyone's Settings from Start to Finish, I know I would be.

i'm pretty sure i did the same (with nova-s tuners) but add these two steps to the end:

reboot
manual transponder scan again, finds channels this time :)
