hi,
i have a satellite receiver (http://www.skyworthdigital.com/pdf/200612119343647244.pdf) and a dish from Oneb and want to configure it for freeview, could someone give me guidelines to do it

Hi, not being exactly farmiliar with that STB, but you need to configure a LNB setup for Optus D1, depending on what LNB you have it will need a LO frequency of 11300 or 10750MHz, or possibly 10600 with 22kHz on  if a universal.

Then you need to setup two transponders for that with parameters frequency of 12483MHz and 12456MHz, both need common parameters of Symbol rate 22500ksym/sec and polarity Horizontal, typically no other parameters are needed to be added. Then scan these two transponders and hopefully you are on your way.
