it says edge tv is on channel 114 but on my tv there is no channel 114

It is a streaming only channel.

Don't think it's been on Freeview since ~mid last year?

EdgeTV (and the Breeze) are back on Freeview from the end of the month replacing 3life and 3life+1

The Edge TV is still a Freeview only channel via the SmartVU devices only, and this will be expanded onto broadcast TV later this month replacing ThreeLife.
