Hi,

I'm looking at using the LKV379PDVB-T-IR to move HDMI from a Sky box over RG6 RF cable to a TV in another room that has a digital tuner.

It seems I shouldn't need the receiving end box as it transmits on DVB-T which the TV digital tuner should be able to decode?

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers,

Shane

Hi Goweed.

Yes you are correct.

I use a similar DVB T Modulator myself - A Satlink WS 6990.

You should be able to Customize or configure your Modulator to Use an unused (LCN - Logical Channel Number)  so it will slip in with the rest of your Digital Freeview Channels.

I usually use channel 0 as it wont ever be used by the Freeview system.

You should also be able to select what broadcast Frequency it is using as well - so it doesn't interfere with the Existing Digital Freeview Channels.

Hope that helps.

Cheers:
