hi I have a very strange situation..I moved into an old flat in parnell. It has dish
and with the help from cyrill, I have already lock the satallite with lof 11300 and threshold 12750.

But for the provider from NZ televison network, all the free2view channels, tv1 tv2 tv6 tv7 tv sport
can not see anything(service are not available or no signal). but for tv1 and tv2, i can see the EPG.
but i just can not see the video....

but from SKYNZ provider, i can see Tv1 and TV2..

So odd....!what should I do? I did not change anything softwares in dreambox, and I could get all these
channels when I lived in city apt with dreambox. Is it software problem ?

thanks in advance

Hi, There are two muxs used on the Freeivew system, all the TVNZ channels are on 12483 and Canwest (TV3/C4 etc) are on 12456, it sounds to me like you have not setup the 12483 one in the transponder list. TV1 and 2 are also FTA on a Sky mux at 12671. All have the same 22500ksym/sec symbol rate.

Hi cyril

you mean that I need to update the satallite.xml? I think that I have the standard one and have not been changed after I moved. I am so frustrated because it really confused me. l use manual search, I did find some services out of 12483, but just black screen. I can see the EPG, the list of programs in tvnz, I just can not watch them because of black screen.

that's odd, you'd think if TV One and TV2 work, why wouldn't the rest? Can you see TV One and TV2 from the TVNZ Mux?

like was said, the manual scan should do it

Freq: 12456 SR: 22500 FEC: 3/4

i have two Dreamboxes and have no issues.

Perhaps your LNB setting isn't correct.  It should either be 10750 or 11300

Trying to diagnose these types of things like this can be frustrating when some details are missing, I suggest you pay someone to sort it out for you.

yes it is odd, I did not change any setting in my dreambox. previously i can do in city apt, but i can not do in parnell old flat.
I can see all the other free2view channels, such as tv1 and tv2 in SKYNZ. just all the four programs, Tv1,tv2,tv6,tv7 provided by TVNZ. i can not watch them.
I have the EPG info, but just black screen.

I think you might be using a different LNB between your old and new place, whatever it's set to out of 11300 and 10750, i'd try the other one.

Are you the only one using that dish, or are you sharing with the rest in your building?

I am the only one using that dish, and it should be 11300, not  10750 because I can no lock sat in 10750.

12483 MHz, SR 22500, FEC 3/4

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

The polarity for both Freeview transponders is horizontal.
