Upgraded to RC3 and found a new-to-dvd-t radio station, BaseFM, to compliment Radio NZ's National Programme and Concert.

My wish list of radio stations to be added to Freeview DVB-T...
UpFM
GeorgeFM
Twisted Radio (www.twisted.co.nz)

Fingers crossed :-)

Is basefm a commercial station?

Cheers,

P.S, you forgot 'The Cheese' ;-)

ZollyMonsta: Is basefm a commercial station?

Yes it is

http://basefm.co.nz/base/

They don't officially launch until Thursday and are supposed to be coming to both DTT and DTH on channel 71.

They are a commercial station but a LPFM to my knowledge, at least they were. I think they are part of Georgefm

Cheese, any news on yourself running on Sat or Terrestrial?

No.. Far too expensive for a hobbyist station like The Cheese.  Especially as there's no money being made (read as 'no commercials').  Would be nice though.. :)

nice, I can now get Base FM and George FM.

I'd like to see a lot more stations get on board with this satellite and digital radio idea, digital radio is so underused in NZ.

Satellite hasn't started yet as the launch isn't until Thursday..

Expect it to appear on 12456H like George FM some time tomorrow.
