Version 4 has just been released & now supports the 7 day OTA EPG.

I can't get over how modern, sleek & efficient this software is compared to NextPVR or the Hauppauge WinTV that I use.
The performance is incredible as well, especially when playing back an ongoing recording. I've always had issues with this in NextPVR.

I've always struggled to come up with an entire pc solution that is polished enough to replace a Panasonic recorder (has to be wife friendly :), this software might just do it.
I just wish PVR software would focus a bit on playback as well. We love the 1.3x playback on the Panasonic.

He certainly promises simplicity.

Interestingly, he charges  AU $1 / CA $1 / NZ $1 / GBP 1 per month subscription fee, so I think we are getting a better deal than others. 🤑

The program even talks to you during channel setup with true on the fly voice notification of the number of channels found & the expected time left for scanning.

Totally unnecessary of course, but nice wow factor.

It also had really slick video effects each time it found a channel on the initial scan. It was able to capture a short video segment of each channel & apply effects & transitions between each one as it went through the frequencies. These were all nicely layered in behind the main program overlay & smooth as.
