I've had Freeview DVB-S setup for some time now and have really been enjoying it. I bought a dish, LNB and all the bits and had it all setup in no time. Piece of cake.
So I thought to myself, it's about time I got Freeview DVB-T working. I connected it up to my DVB-T card and it found all 12 channels, but there was a lot of pixelation and stutter due to poor signal. The current UHF aerial was fairly rusted, so I bought a new 91 element from jaycar and put it up. Still had bad signal. So I thought I'd better replace the coax with some decent RG6 quad shield. Still had bad signal. Ok, I must need a masthead amp, so I picked up one of those. Aargh, still bad signal.
I'm about to admit defeat and throw in the towel, or maybe call in an expert, but before I do does anybody have any good suggestions? I live in Unsworth Heights on the North Shore and cannot see either Pinehill or Waiatarua.
Alternatively does anybody know any good aerial installation people?
Cheers guys
