Has anybody tried Windows 7 using DVB-T with some of the common extenders such as the Linksys models and xbox360.

What happens?

Currently using a 360 as a dedicated extender.

There's still a bug or two in the extender "module", its improved a whole heap between the 3 released beta's, but still gives a few issues (DRM related) when playing recorded WTV content.  These show up as network errors.

Watching live TV is fine, including HD h.264 from both Freeview and Sky.  THis part works just like you expect including full access to the guide, recording/booking etc.

It plays nearly everything (Divx's etc), with the exception of MKV's.

Other than that, once you've mapped your content through correctly it looks exactly like 7 Media Center.

At $260 odd bucks a pop for a 360 its hard to go wrong.
