Hi folks, as the topic states, I believe these are available ex UK but wondered if there is a local supplier. To suit a 1" pole.

is it for an aerial or a sat dish?
Hi, take a gander at this pic.

What is it that you specifically require from it/need it for - the holes in that vertical face and their specific spacing?
Can you DIY improvise something from pole clamps available here?
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

just buy that, pole included.
any reason can't use a standard hockey stick pole?
Thanks Cyril, that's perfect. I would like to try one of these antennas for freeview on our new build. Looks a lot tidier than the normal UHF aerials. The best position for it is by a piece of fascia but we are using quite a deep gutter. So I figure I will screw this to the soffit instead (rotate the bracket 180° in cyril's pic)
Hi, right, personally I would have just gone for a standard facia mount.
Cyril
Yeah, as I say, we are using a very deep gutter (rain water collection, sick of gutters overflowing) so there is only 10 or 15mm of fascia showing below the gutter.
Hi, ah right, thats why they invented this little part :)

i was never really fond of those because on a lot of a houses it only screws into a short thin bit of wood thats holding the soffit, which can be less secure than the facia. so make sure its well stayed.

Will be screwed to a 90 x 45 (on edge) through the soffit so should be secure enough.
Maybe we should have a beauty contest. Do you prefer:

Serious question.
Looks like the part you want is part of this package

i havn't used the adjustable mount. the advantage of it is far more flexible which gives more options. however for either i would be fitting stays. a pair of adjustable stays works well.
i used to repair a lot of homes where the aerial/dish broke the timber/wall because they where to cheap to use stays or screw to structural timber.
Thanks wellygary, turns out they're everywhere if you know where to look. That's quite a neat little antenna. It might be all I need. We're line of sight to Te Aroha, 32km away.
