I have an old dish, I am wanting to replace the LNB, just because. I did read this.. https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=83&topicid=280596 but didn't help

What is best LNB type

- 10750

- 11300

- universal

- Unicable?

I did try a spare Universal one, didn't see to find as many channels, as the old Dish LNB

Hi, if its just SkyNZ and FreeviewNZ your after just get either a 10750 or 11300 both will work just fine, Sky ones are 10750 albeit dual throat to see 156 and 160E but thats not required for mentioned services.

They do, but with 10750 or 11300 theres a 50/50 chance will work with your receiver without having to touch the lnb setup, particularly if you’ve had the receiver working on a sky/freeview dish before. 10750 is the most common particularly on Sky dishes.

using Universal LNB there would be 100% chance you have to change the LNB setup. It will still work.
