I have noticed for several days now that there have been some channel changes on Freeview DTT on my box as following:

-Maori went from channel 5 to channel 801 and is now channel back to channel 5 but out of sequence.

-New 'Test' channel appeared as channel 802 and has now changed to channel 242.

-Chinese TV went from channel 28 to 803 and then back to 28.

-Two new channel have appear 'Reserved 5KSD' and 'Reserved 6KSD'; these started as channels 804 and 805 and are now showing as channels 244 and 245.

Has anyone else seen this and does anyone know it they are the start of several new channels?

The test channel has always been 242 on my system..

The reserved channels have always existed on the Kordia MUX and anybody who's used a PC based PVR would have seen these in a channel scan. With an approved box the software prevents you from seeing these.

Officially there are no new channels planned for the short term.

Thanks for the info; it appears strange why they have suddenly appeared on my box in the last few days and then moved around since then?

Guess I was hoping it was the start of something new.

When does the new TV3 +1 start? Not that I am hanging out for it. It seems like a waste of bandwidth to me. I suppose since we got mysky I can't really relate to live TV anymore though!

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

Last I heard was March 30th. Not sure if this is a definate start date or just a target.
