Hi all
Suspect this is a really dumb question, but before I call the aerial/TV installer...
Bought a Samsung Series 6 with built-in Freeview tuner. Did auto-tuning -- picked up 7 digital channels (TV One, TV2, TV3, C4, TVNZ6, TVNZ7 and TVNZ Sports Extra) -- no probs, all in splendid HD. But no sign of Maori TV, Parliament TV or Radio NZ. So I'm thinking the aerial is OK, tuner is working, must be some setting problem. Did manual searches on channels 51, 53 and 57 (I'm in Wellington/Fitzherbert transmitter) -- found the same 7 channels (5 on 51, 2 on 53, 0 on 57). Tried searching on every channel from 45 to 59, no sign of the missing channels.
Anyone else got this problem? Anyone know the answer??
Thanks, all suggestions appreciated!

Hi, most common issue is antenna response slope that can be heavily effected by incorrect pointing or bad design, deterioation or lots of other fuzzy issues, best advise is to get an antenna installer with proper field stength meter to adjust your antenna so that all three muxs appear correctly, PM GZ members Brunzy or myself if you want an antenna check, otherwise check your antenna out for yourself, look for corrostion issues, water in coax, suitablitiy of coax for UHF operation, quality of connections, correct pointing, all good points to start with.

Cheers
Cyril
