Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to get an inside look through Mt Te Aroha transmission station?

Hi, in the old days when I worked there and it was manned, anyone who knocked on the door and asked for a tour was shown about, but then it was all less commercially sensitive and staff were there 8:30am-10pm 6days a week and 8hrs on Sundays.

These days no one works then on a full time basis, only as required for maintenance and installation work. I suggest you contact Kordia in Auckland to see if you can organise something. There is a Kordia contractor in Hamilton/Morrinsville who is first callout staff for the site, they may put you in contact with him.
