It was promising to hear Jonc can receive terrestrial freeview at the Hataitai Village.

Does anyone know if the middle part of Moxham Ave can receive it as well as Freeviews coverage site says no and I dont have  UHF aerial.

Cheers

While no replies to my message, if anyone is interested a Sky Technician check my house for a UHF signal and it reads 60 but requires 65+ to reliably connect to freeview HD so it looks like the middle of Moxham is outside of the coverage area.

Something not right with the figures you've been given.

If the "60"  was 60dbuv then he's talking nonsense saying you need 65dbuv.
Not sure though that  a sky installer would have a meter capable of measuring DVB-T signals, are you sure the figures he gave you were for this?

If you are interested in an install,PM me or Cyril with the details.

Hi, I dont know what your Sky installer was talking about, but as Brunzy says, if its 60dBuV then that 15-20dB more than you need for acceptable DTT reception, but he could have been counting the number of corn flakes in his breakfast bowl.

I have a large job on in Seaton at the moment, so float past your way quite a lot, I also have a suitable meter to determine DTT reception, PM  me if you want a proper evaluation.

Cheers
Cyril
