Did anyone catch One News tonight (Wednesday)?
After the sport I'm sure they said TV One were going to show some live Football games but I can't find anything on their website.


Anyone know if/when these games will be shown?

FA Cup final, plus something else (I think)

Basically I think cos ESPN are useless and not showing the FA Cup, despite owning the rights to do so.  There was a thought that it might not be shown here fullstop.  Funny Sky didn't pick it up.

At least it means we'll get widescreen coverage, possibly even with the BBC commentary rather than those idiots from ESPN.  At worst it'll be sourced from SBS or Setanta Australia (it's on the anti-siphoning lis in Australia)

Good news for soccer/football fans, harks back to 'the day' when the FA Cup final was always shown on TVNZ

Found it on TVNZOnDemand.


If anyone else is interested they're showing the FA Cup semis and final live on TV One.


Arsenal v Chelsea on Sunday April 19th (4:15am)
Manchester United v Everton on Monday April 20th (3am)
FA Cup final on Sunday May 31st (2am)


Set the PVR.
