Windows 7 Media Center supports H.264 there is no need for 3rd party apps.

You also need to define "better". In what regards?

wow can it i have tryed it but it wont scan channles i click scan and it just dose nothing i have freeview HD

It does not scan until you finish the wizard. Have you finished the wizard?

Not sure but guessing by your other thread yes it matters. Try reinstalling it.

Video card not tuner card. If you are not seeing video but are getting sound it may be a video hardware or driver issue.
