I have an old Sky 65cm dish on my roof.
I am going to hook up box to this to watch Freeview.
I am looking at buying one of these twin lnb plates

In addition to Freeview I also want to tune in to OptusD2.

Will this work on the 65CM dish or do I need something bigger?

It can work, the main issue with those is you cant
individually peak both sat's.
Optimising one means you physically move the other

i have a 90cm and have 3 LNB's on D1, C1 and D1, works fine. Not much on TV, unless you're into God or ethnic stuff. Things I watch on there are BVN (Dutch language), Russia Today, NHK World and Press TV. There is the odd uplink on there for various things as well, mainly originating for Australia.

check out Lyngsat for what you can get, baring in mind the colours, as many services are subscription via UBI or similar.

yes NHK World is on Optus D2

Baring in mind, it's in English. If you want Japanese language you need NHK Premium, which you can get via Sky for a fee.

yes, thanks. Aware of that. The sky addon is a rediculous $50+ on top of normal sky charges.
As I understand it though - a lot of news on NHKWorld is in Japanese with English subtitles.

Had a clsoe look at my dish today and it actually has one of the sky dual throat lnbs on it. Can this be used to look at two satellites (D1&2) or is it a dual throat for some other purpose?
