I'm just about to embark on attempting to get comskip customised to cut the ads out of my recordings. I'm using GB-PVR, Commskip h264 and Handbrake.

Doesn't work properly with HD, problem with the audio codec, not supported by comskip. Cant use audio data and results in poor ad detection on HD.

What other options are there for editing ads out of recordings? I gather it involves demuxing the audio to a file - converting it and re-muxing then using "any old H264" editor. Can all this be batched? I could run it from GBPVR's PostProcessing.bat.

shortly, VideoReDo will work.

New VideoReDo can do Freeview|HD

the only major issue I can't resolve for now is that if the file has frame errors it gets out of sync, and I can't yet get it back in sync using VRD.

I can't wait, I'm giving handbrake a go in the meantime.
