If I use an aerial cable from my Draco 6300 (upgraded to Freeview approved S/W) RF Out to my Panasonic TV RF In, I cannot get Prime on UHF.

However, if I use the same cable and plug it into my Panasonic DVD Recorder RF In (which in turn is connected to the TV via HDMI) then I do get a Prime on UHF.

Why?

Thanks

Your not getting it from Freeview but via UHF thru your DVD recorders tuner..

To clarify more on that.

Theres 2 different signals at play there. UHF broadcast (antenna to your non digital TV/DVD) and UHF-Digital (which your draco is tuned to look for instead). A different set of frequencies and signal type in the UHF spectrum.

Of which Prime is NOT ON. Theres many a debate as to why Prime should/should not be on freeview. But its the way it is. Digital receivers are tuned for their own band of which Prime is not a part of being on standard UHF.
