I am running MythTV on MythBuntu with an Hauppauge Nova-S card - which has an s-video input. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to adding the signal from the s-video input to my list of channels that I can view - on top of the Freeview channels?

Thanks
Mike

Here is what I have tried so far

- add a capture card (there are a number of cardtypes in the drop down box)
- the only one that seems to give me any results (albeit negative) is 'Analog V4L capture card'
- then I go to the channel editor and scan that card and it finds 69 channels (which is weird - why would it find 69 channels on a video input? If I unplug the cable it finds none)
- when I try to select one of those channels I get an error 'Error was encountered while displaying video'

As you can probably tell, I know not of what I do.

Mike
