i have a wierd issue with my thrown together HTPC.

I installed Windows 7 and it all works beuatifully except for channel 2.

When I watch channel 2 it's like there is a codec issue as the screen gets garbled now and then when the scene changes dramatically.

Just for a laugh I installed win tv 7 that came with it (I know it's not supported etc) but during the channel scan I saw that TV2 was the only channel with H264/HD mentioned where as the others were H264/SD.

The reason I say it's codec-esque is on another machine playing a 1080 rip of a movie would result in garbledness but when I disabled hardware decoding via the MPC codec and started using FFDShow the garbly ness went away. That being said the movie was garbled really really badly with big green blotches, tv2 is just blocky when the scene changes.. I tried to get a screenshot but no joy :(

Any ideas much appreciated.

Hauppage 1200 PVR DVB-T (Aerial Freeview)
Radeon 4550 PCIE (Latest driver from ATI and newer from Windows Update both tried to resolve above issue)
ADI Sound Max
Windows 7 x64 (TV is watched in the default out of the box Media Centre)
4GB RAM
