I am a new face in DVB technology and also this site. I'm interested in developing of MHEG-5 application over DVB-T. I have been trying to find out MHEG-5 and ASN1(DER) encoder/decoder. With no luck, I can't find any one based on Windows OS. I have some doubts about developing MHEG-5 application. Can i just write ASN1 textual code then encode it to be ASN1(DER) after that send them over DSM-CC in DVB-T. Do i need any special tool to develope MHEG application such as the tools comming out from DTG group (S&T, Ocean blue). I assume that i won't need Virtual MHEG engine running on my PC. To see the result, I will send the application to set top box directly.

I'm looking forward to hearing from every one and Thanks in advance for every reply.

I have to thank you very much for your pointing the way out for me. I realise that some of my qusetion will be pointless as I still try to get a clear picture of the MHEG-5 technology using in DVB-T. Without a clear picture, I may not actully know what exactly I need to know so it's not only your kindness i thank to but also your patience to my stupid question i have made. I hope I can have your futher helpe.

Best Regards,
Eddy
