Hi all!

I am using 2x LNBs with a 22kHz tone switch to one FTA STB. All working fine.
I want to add a second FTA STB (in fact is a HTPC, but this I believe is not important right now).
I cannot run more cables easily. Only one receiver will be used at any given time.

Can I use a splitter to get the signal to the two receivers?
I tried and it appears NOT to be working... any ideas?

It looks like the splitter does not pass the 22kHz signal. I have two splitters, one does not pass anything on sat, and a fuzzy picture on TV. The other splitter works great on TV and the sat channels NOT requiring a 22kHz signal. No picture for the channels with 22kHz signal enabled.

Regards.

The diode in them has to be foward biased to allow the tone to pass, so there cannot be another box powering the lnb for them to pass.

It really needs you to get a proper multi switch, but that would require 2 cables.
