Originally when i set it up, nothing worked

So i did an auto scan and all the channels popped up except TVNZ ones.

Any other ideas?

Maybe you can tell us if the appropriate transponder entry with frequency of 12483 MHz, 22500 KSym/sec, horizontal, exists. If it doesn't can you add it.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

Sounds like your dish may have issues, ie skew is the most likely, probably best to have it checked by a suitable installer.

The dish works fine for sky:

signal level 80, quality 100

for freeview 12436 are 100%, but 12483 and 12456 flick between 0% and 100%

Is this a dish alignmen prob (even if sky is OK??)

Hi, 12436 is not a valid transponder, if Sky is all ok then its reasonable to assume (but not necessarily so) that its all ok, again we could spend hours contemplating your problem remotely, maybe getting in a tech may save you lots of grief.

Cheers
Cyril

Valid frequencies are 12456 and 12483.

Hi 12463 is also not a valid Sky or FreeView transponder, the only ones of interest for FreeView are 12456 and 12483 both with 22500 symbol rate and all Hpol.

3 freeview 12463 22500 H tv=9 radio=5
4 freeview 12463 22500 V tv=9 radio=5
5 carrier4 12483 22500 V tv=0 radio=0

Did you manually add this 12463 frequency??, if you did can you delete it.

Have you got your Sky box in circuit while Freeview box is scanning?, have you added any splitters or cable to your setup??

Having Sky in circuit won't help if it is trying both horizontal and vertical as it is switching between two voltages.
