Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone else is/was having reception problems in Dunedin tonight.
Both my Samsung TV (freeview built in) & my Vantage settop box kept losing reception between 9.30pm & 10.30pm. Not sure if it is still happening as I turned of the tv then.
Just wondering if I need to check the aerial and cabling tomorrow or it was a transmission problem.

Cheers John

On Sun morning in Palmerston North I had the same issue, the digital reception just disapeared completely, but I could still receive analogue signal though. Come on Freeview own up to the outage!

I checked it again after about 2hr and it was working again, bizzare!

just got this from freeview:
We are currently experiencing some transmission issues in the
Christchurch and Dunedin areas. We do apologise for the inconvenience
and we are working with Kordia to get these fixed as soon as possible so
that you can receive crystal clear television again.
Thanks for your enquiry,

No mention of Palmerston North in that reply, lets hope it was just an isolated case.

I noticed there was no A/V signal on a few channels at one point last night.
Some of my mates definitely noticed significant outages.
All in Dunedin.
