hello all  i bought one of his extra terestilas prob 8 mnths ago   besides the remote doing odd stuff  the unit rebooting at times  pixelation often  yeaterday was a sound from it thro tv  a big scowl...then it rebooted and wanted to install as if new..ok i thought  lets do that... problem being i cannot select continue or anything from remote or box its self   so i emailed our pete  yea he quickly mailed back to ask where i was...so i mailed back and told him.. id explained my problem before the reply.

Then he emails back (promptly again)  and says 3 words  <software on site>
which id allready done to usb key  needlees to say the usb key was useless in the iniate mode it goes to even booting with it in....

So i emailed back and told him it was no good <well u guessed it suddenly his keys fall silent>  so another email  nothing   text msg  nothing

i wish i wassnt one of the first to but this unit.....  does anyone here know ifs its dead or a way around this issue....

Thanx in advance  philWink

the best way around this issue is probably a sledge hammer ;)
the extra terrestrial is a complete dog from what i've read. i'd dump it and buy a better brand.
