Ive looked on freeview web stie but can see any info.

Does anyone know if you can do series link with Freeview like you can on MySkyHDi so it records same show same time every week.

It's a feature of the MHEG EPG. On an approved device the option will be there to record an entire series.

IMO the Magic TV is the pick of them but there are other threads with more in depth discussion. Just bear in mind they are all FreeviewHD recorders- ie terrestrial only, not satellite.

All Freeview approved MyFreeview|HD support series link.

Homecast HT9200DTR is my choice. MagicTV product even though looks good with the extra features, I am yet to be convinced that the extra features are of much use. My HT9200DTR is a solid performer and I have managed to figure out a way to transfer my recordings. That's all I need. A reliable unit that is Freeview approved, records, allows me to watch and transfer content that I need. I saw it sell for $499 on Geekzone which is also a very good price for the unit. Also, it is backed by a good support from DTV Solutions.
