What is my best option, dont know much, i want to record tv to my hardrive.  i have a p4 266 3gb ram.

freeview? Analog? from a sky box?

If you have a decent UHF antenna, best bet is to get any DVB-T device, and use it to record Freeview|HD.

And after you record it what do you want to do with it?

I'm also assuming your P4 isn't 266MHz as they were never that slow.

Like has been previously asked what TV source DVB-T, DVB-S, analogue or Sky?

you should use dvb-s as you pc probably wont handle dvb-t at all

Why dvb s, what is it with dvb t that my computer wont handle.  all i want is to record freeview and watch at a later.
