i have a fm radio
LOW POWER FM TRANSMITTER
 here can reach about 8km (5miles) they guy i brought if off on trademe said there is no transmitter licence needed is this true and if so is there any rules i need to follow thanks

just don't wanna get in sh*t and have to pay 1000's of  dollars 


is there any law in new zealand about broudcasting my own vhf tv channle showing videos ive made ect would only reach about 1mile if that

You're talking about a FM transmitter though.. not a TV transmitter.. Two different things.

Yes, you have to pay for licences with APRA and PPNZ to legally broadcast music works.

You can, as long as you don't broadcast any copyright material.
