I have a Nova-S-Plus card connected to a Sky dish, LNB settings are dish:10750000,10750000,11700000.

It is reporting no signal, I know the dish works for Sky (borrowed a decoder a while ago) howeverI have since moved the cable to another location in the house.

What am I doing wrong that is stopping it from working?

I have tried using DVBviewer, WINtv, MCE, and the EPG grabber, all without results.

Thanks for your help

The numbers you quote for the LNB do not make a lot of sense. Either the LNB will have a LO of 10750 Mhz or 11300 Mhz if it is a Sky install. You can treat it as a single LNB but your card may want to have a setting such as 10750 L, 10750 H, or 11300 L, 11300 H.

Hope this helps.

All the text on the LNB except the serial number are below:
LNB is white if that makes any difference

Sharp Ku LMBF
BS1D1AQ112A
LO 10.75 Ghz
11.7 ~12.75 / 12.25~12.75Ghz
950~2000 1500~2000Mhz

Hope this works.

Basically what are my
LOF1, LOF2 anf LOF SW?

I have been told they are 10750000,10750000,11700000. But this still doesn't appear to work.

Dont; really want to fork out for a sat finder but looks like maybe required to check dish is actually in alignment still :(

DOES A HAPPY DANCE:D:D:D:D:D

Got it to work, can scan and see Freeview! :D

For future use

Dish:10750000,10750000,127500000

LOF 1 = 10750
LOF 2 = 10750
LOF SW = 12750

Now to get SBS working....
