Of all times for the freeview box to stop working...World Cup :(

 We have a built in freeview tv, so watching is ok. However since we can't record from the TV unless the monitor is actually on, we rely on our Hills Satellite freeview decoder to record stuff.
It was working yesterday morning, but when I tried to record the world cup highlights yesterday evening, no signal. It's a black screen, with the red info bar showing the flashing reception icon.
I've checked the settings, but it all looks normal.
Any ideas?
No storms or anything in Auckland yesterday!!!
