Hi,  I notice on pictures of these PCI DVB-S cards that there are often two protruding, threaded connections.  Presumably one is for the dish-antenna cable, but what is the other one?

Its a pass-through connector to allow you to connect to another card or device (ie without a splitter)

baring in mind it will only tune a channel of the same polarity as the card.
