ive used h.264 cutter and ts doctor with are hard to edit videos as they edit out the wrong parts ect

ive used and would say its the best VideoReDo TVSuite V4 but i can only edit out 5mins of video i would buy the full app but its $100 usd :(

is there any other apps you know of that can edit freeview hd h.264/aac thanks

MPEGStreamclip maybe?
You'd have to check the specs, or give it a whirl.

I'd imagine AviSynth would be able to handle the Freeview stream and make cutting/editing very easy. Take a look over at http://forum.doom9.org/ for some more information.

Yeah looks like it'll handle mpeg4 but not h.264... I would've thought there would be more options out there for cutting h.264

allstarnz: VideoReDo is the shizz, but like you say, it's not cheap.


VR is good. Not quite perfect for handling some of our content yet, however it is definitely improving... and the price isn't bad when you consider that it can edit/join with minimal re-encoding and that Adobe Premiere costs $800 USD!
