Hi all,
I have a strong srt3650 set top freeview box, which regularly (at least once a week) throws up an error message of "unauthorised software" onto my flat screen tv,before it switches off, only to refuse to boot or even turn on again,sometimes for an hour-sometimes for a few days-yes DAYS!.

I have just about had enough of this piece of junk, but before I put it in the driveway and run over with my car, does anyone have any ideas of how I might fix this problem?

There are no "boot" updates as far as i know for this basic model,and I have the standard factory firmware installed.Its totally random when it does this.Goes for weeks no problem-then for no reason then will give the message as above,and shut off,and is is even more random when it boots up again.Have tried the disconnect from power etc..and sometimes it works,sometimes it doesn't.
Anyone have this problem-and any answers on how to fix it. It's only 3 years old.
