Does anybody know if there are any plans to expand the terrestrial service for freeview?

I haven't bothered getting the satellite yet as I don't watch all that much TV
and it is a bit of a hassle really. However I do know that the analogue signals will be
switched off eventually and that will pretty much force the issue, I still would rather get the
terrestrial service.
